What is DIGITAL PAINTING?…think of it like this… imagine having access to all the colors and all the paintbrushes in the world BUT the only way to use them is to first learn another language.
Then you must speak in this new language and describe exactly what’s in your creative mind’s eye so that the image can appear
in front of you on the computer screen.
And here we have it, digital art printed on canvas. This is the “newest” way of expressing what has traditionally been done with pigments on a canvas.

These are vintage photos of my family. I tried to get an edgy feel by playing with color overtop of black and white photos. Many of these photos were from negatives that I scanned in. I was surprised at how well that actually worked!
